HANDBOOK - Children's Leaders

A handbook containing objectives, policies and job descriptions will increase effectiveness and give a broader understanding of the overall children's program. Policies should include such items as: procedure for giving recognition to new children; scheduling activities; training; visitation ideas; record system; promotion; curriculum; class names; classrooms; audiovisual aids and equipment; visual aids; and supplies. Clear job descriptions should be listed for specific tasks, including how much time the position requires, including training.
