CHRISTMAS CARD PROJECT

Set up a post office in the church foyer. Announce to the church members that they may address their Christmas cards to persons in the church and bring them to the Christmas post office. The money which would have been used for postage is brought and used for a special missionary offering. The boys and girls sort the cards, stack them according to names and rubber band them into bundles. Church families stop by the post office and pick up their cards.

Another way to promote a special missionary project, at this season of the year, is to have the children make a giant Christmas card and display it in the church foyer. People sign their names to this card and give the money they would otherwise have used to buy Christmas cards and pay postage. Children should be available before and after all services to collect money.
