Jesus said, "Give, and it shall be given unto you..." Children need to learn this important Lesson while they are young. This Thanksgiving project provides, not just head knowledge, but experiential knowledge - something which cannot be learned from a book.
Starting the last Sunday in October, the boys and girls plan for Thanksgiving boxes. They make the list of food. They bring in the items. They deliver the food to needy families. After participating in such a project, the children will not forget the joy of real thanksgiving!
