Give pupils opportunity to choose a favorite Bible verse on the Sunday after their birthday. This scripture then becomes his birthday verse which is taken home and memorized.
Select verses suitable for your group, such as: Ephesians 6:1; 1 John 4:7; Psalm 56:3; Luke 10:27; Matthew 7:12; Luke 2:51; 1 John 4:11; Ephesians 4:32 and Proverbs 3:5-6. Type the verses on colored paper and laminate for durability.
